The Specific Objectives:
1. Developing global and environmental thinking skills of young people (aged 18-25) through the workshops and field visits
which will be held with different types of activities during LTTs and local activities.
2. Improving young people understanding of the consequences of their individual preferences, consumption habits, and
lifestyles on Environmental and Climate Change challenges through involving them inquiry-based activities and giving them
real-life situations during LTTs and local activities. ( Min.200 yp )
3. Improving youth workers' digital and green skills for adapting their teaching method to allow young people to unleash their
creativity in a ‘green’ context through LTTs

Day 2 – Individual orientation and information about the venue and the city – Networking activities – Course introduction – Ice-breaking activities – Team building exercises – Creativity used for Green learning: this part provides an overview on how to get started with the concept of a creative just transition and its implementation at school at a sustainable level.
Day 3 – Explore arts-based methods to expand young people’s imagination and engagement -Review the role of creative practices in ESD methodologies (project or problem-based learning, case study) – identify how artistic and creative practices can serve as a medium to facilitate dialogue and lead to concrete action. – Cultural activities : -visit of the social enterprises in Frankfurt – – Visit of the Office of German Public Employment Service
Day 4 -Discover the concept of biomimicry – How to include the emotional aspect of climate change through approaches based on notions of understanding, empathy, and experience – How to provide spaces for creative imagination and showcase real examples of active engagement. – Promote environmental consciousness by creating links between disciplines and support meaning-making capabilities – Case study: The German Climate guide for multidisciplinary climate education
Day 5 – Practical work: leading ESD activities through creative and experiential approaches – Review strategies to tackle the aspects of learning and teaching that constrain and restrict the flow of creative processes activity and around the whole environment – Tailored practice based on the participants learning needs and expectations – Review of the Four-C model of creativity by Kaufman and Beghetto and how to use it to foster young people’s connection to nature through authentic situations – Space for discussion of future cooperation and planning follow up activities – Validation of learning outcomes and certification ceremony.
Day 6 – Departure.

1st day: -Welcome Ceremony -Presentation of the host: “Responsible Consumption and Production” -workshop: create ‘mock green companies’ to give young people a sense of environmental entrepreneurship -Workshop: We will work together as well with the youth workers working on the 5 ‘Rs: Reducing, recycling, reusing, refusing (what we don’t need) and re-giving to the Earth -Field visit to “center”
2nd day: -Workshop on Paper Recycling: Young people will search: How paper is made? How new paper can be made from old, used paper. The value of recycling paper. International groups will write a story about “How paper is recycled” by using web 2.0 tools – Workshop: Activity to learn about recycling paper “Make Seed Paper”
3rd day: – Workshop on Plastic Recycling: Young people will search: How plastic is made? Negative effects of plastic usage? How can we recycle plastic? International groups will make a cartoon about “The effects of plastic on our world” by using web 2.0 tools -Workshop: Activity to learn about recycling plastic “Make a T-Shirt bag” instead of using plastic bags -Field visit
4th day: – Workshop on Glass Recycling: Young people will search: How glass is recycled? How can we recycle glass? International groups will create infographics on Glass Recycling by using web 2.0 tools – Workshop: Activity to learn about recycling glass “Make a Glass Bottle Lamp or Vase”
5th day: – Workshop:’a day by day’ shop in the town with the goal of learning how to compose a ‘zero waste meal’ – Workshop: a photograph presentation on the subject “For a Clean World”, using recycled materials to create objects – young people will get together in small groups and will build a short movie with a collection of photos of their experience and learning throughout the LTT -Reflection, evaluation, and planning of the next LTTs – Certification ceremony and farewell dinner Departure Day
